 SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent skills acquired in Civil Engineering supported by a B.S. in Civil Engineering, M.S. in Structural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering. Experienced in design, analysis, teaching and research in the field of Geotechnical Engineering with a strong background in reliability, statistical techniques and pavement design. Published over 35 papers in peer reviewed journals, participated and published over 25 papers in international conference proceedings and authored over 15 technical reports as a result of funded projects, supervised numerous MSc Theses and authored one book. Reviewed papers for several international journals, conferences and forums. Established the Civil Engineering Department at University of Sharjah (UOS), developed undergraduate and graduate programs and prepared documentations for accreditation [International (ABET) and Local]. Prepared strategic plans for the College and Department. Developed two computer softwares. Familiar with VAX, mainframes and PCs. Certified web developer and designer. Established online courses (Civil Engineering courses at UOS). Consultant for several national and international scientific institutions/organizations and construction firms.
