THE AWARD

The Adnan's Personal Web Award is an award honoring web site excellence. This award will be presented on a monthly bases . Personal web sites of all types can be nominated. Individuals should nominate their web sites by the 20th of each month and must sign my guestbook. All nominated sites will be thoroughly visited and judged by a panel of three referees (including my self).

There are three levels of this award: (a) Gold; (b) Silver and (c) Bronze. Winners (only) will be contacted by e-mail within the first week of the following month with instructions on how to upload their personalized award. Recipients of the gold award may NOT be re-nominated, however, silver and bronze winners and non-winners can be re-nominated indefinitely in subsequent months, but only to be considered for a higher level of the award.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR NOMINATIONS:

The Web site

1) Should be COOOOOOOOOOL and GRRRRROOOOOVY !
2) Should be original, creative and personal in nature.
3) Must have content and not a bunch of links to other external pages.
4) Should have an attractive and well-designed layout.
5) Must not be rude, obscene or prejudice in any way.
6) Should have clear text with correct language.
7) Must load reasonably fast.
8) Should not have broken links or graphics.

SCORING AND SELECTION OF WINNERS:

All sites will be fully viewed by three referees and scored out of 100% distributed as follows:

Originality : 15%
Content : 15%
Layout/Design : 20%
Graphics : 20%
Navigational ease and speed of downloading: 20%
Bonus : 10% (Based on my own personal overall judgment)

Once all sites are scored, the awards are given as follows:

First Top 2%, (or a minimum of 1 site), GOLD AWARD
Second Top 5%, (or a minimum of 1 site), SILVER AWARD
Third Top 10%, (or a minimum of 1 site), BRONZE AWARD
